TIPPENS WOOD ALPACA has grown rapidly since the acquisition of two gelded males some four years ago and the entire Lost City Alpaca herd in 2008. Planned acquisition ensuring strong diverse blood lines and careful breeding has ensured the capture of strong genetics from the top English breeders to create solid coloured alpacas.

The Tippens Wood Alpaca herd now have the progeny of carefully selected stud males from prestigious alpaca farms such as CP Cambridge Accoyo Cajamarca of Blenheim, CP Vladmir Don Camillo, Horley Pepsi Max , Shanbrook Accoyo Carbon Copy and Silverstream Czar.
Our new stud male - Lost City Manco Capac whose 2009 fleece statistics show a micron count of 14.4 with the percentage of fibres greater than 30% at less than 1%.and 2010 fleece statistics show a micron count at 16.2!
We are registered members of The British Alpaca Society (BAS)and all our alpacas are registered with the British Alpaca Society. We use Tracer micro-chips for identification and security.
